Hello! Happy Monday and welcome back.

Last week I had talked about trying to include more healthy/whole foods into my everyday eating habits. I also talked about how boring my food has been mostly because it has been mostly just chicken and rice. Which is true, but I thought sharing it with all of you would help make it fun…maybe…hopefully
Anyway, here we go!
The top 3 recipes I used for meal prep last week:
- Teriyaki Turkey Meatballs
- Cajun Chicken Bites (did not get a picture eaten too fast)
- Teriyaki Chicken Bites
Teriyaki Turkey Meatballs

Added Zest:
I had cooked teriyaki chicken while baking turkey meatballs. After the meatballs were done, I threw them in the pan after removing the chicken and let them crisp/brown. 10/10 recommend for a good crispy finish
Cajun Chicken Bites
Added Zest:
The secret with just seasoned chicken is this – if you think you added too much, you probably added the right amount. It should taste good and not just like boring chicken
Teriyaki Chicken Bites

Added Zest:
When I added the remaining part of the teriyaki and soy sauce, I turned up the heat which meant the chicken crisped and kind of caramelized
Not as health and wellness but you could also throw in about a 1/2 tbsp. of brown sugar to actually caramelize the soy and teriyaki sauce and add some really nice texture
If you added to much sauce, add a tbsp. of flour or cornstarch to cut the liquid and form a thick sauce
Hopefully this is useful to people that needed a little motivation and some new inspiration for their everyday chicken.
As always, if you tried, let me know what you think either here or on my instagram and I will be writing again and bringing new recipes to you soon!
