Hello and welcome back!

Now, I know the picture is not appealing, but the pasta itself is so good! Also, I made the sauce from scratch – hence the name: Scratch Sauce Pasta.
I had some leftovers in the fridge: one mushroom bouillon cube, half of a parmesan block, a baggie of spinach and onion, two tomatoes, and literally two sprigs of rosemary. With no idea what to make for dinner I just threw everything in the blender and created this from-scratch sauce!



After making this pasta, I surely believe they add artificial color to pasta sauce to be red because my sauce was bright orange-ish and I thought it was made wrong. However, the taste was SO GOOD. I made the biggest bowl and originally thought I would not eat all of it, but it tasted so yummy it was gone.

I was going to name this garbage pasta because it was made from the odds-and-ends left in my fridge, but it is better than garbage and I needed a more appealing name. It is also so fresh compared to store-bought brands and also naturally colored π
Try it out on your next pasta night, it is worth it!
Thank you for checking in again, I meant to post this two weeks ago but between two full-time jobs, I am TIRED and the motivation and creativity is spent on my work…but I do love food. There are a lot of changes still coming my way so I appreciate the patience while I adjust to my new way of life working from home, balancing two jobs, and figuring out my next steps.
