Better-Than-Takeout Noodles

It is true, it is better than takeout

  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil topping
  • 1/4 c Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Hoisin Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 3 Eggs
  • Sprinkle Salt/Pepper
  • 500 kg Chicken Mince
  • 1 Package Hokkien Noodles
  • 1/2 Green Onion chopped
  • 2 c Stir Fry Veggies


  • In a medium-sized bowl, cook noodles according to packages (just pour boiling water over noodles and separate with a fork. Let sit for up to 5 minutes)
  • In a separate bowl, add chicken, red pepper flakes, hoi sin sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic powder, and salt/pepper. Mix well, making sure chicken is covered in sauce
  • In a wok pan, add chicken and cook almost all the way through (10-15 minutes). Then add the veggies. Let the veggies cook and mix into chicken
  • Add eggs to the side of the pain and scramble. Mix into the chicken/veggies mixture
  • Finally, add the noodles. Mix together and ensure the noodles are well-incorporated/covered
  • Let cook for about 2 minutes, pan-frying noodles for short amount of time
  • Remove from heat
  • Enjoy!
